Thank you for your interest in shooting photos and videos at Oak City Comicon. Please note that a Media Pass is required for all professional photography, video, and/or any other recording at the event. Please read our press guidelines careful and click the link below to apply for a press pass.
To make sure all of our attendees, guests, and media have a fun, safe, and easily accessible experience at the show, we have a few guidelines we ask all photographers and videographers follow. Please read all of the information below and understand that failure to abide by these guidelines could result in your removal from the show.
- Be respectful of guests and attendees and do not act in ways that could interrupt panels, signings, film screenings, or interactions at tables or booths throughout the show.
- Do not block doorways, hallways, panel rooms, or theaters with cameras, tripods, lights, interviews, photoshoots, or other equipment or activities that could block passageways or impede the flow of traffic.
- For cosplay photography, please be respectful of the cosplayer’s privacy and personal space and do not take photos without their express permission or giving them an opportunity to prepare their costume and pose.
- Do not use any Oak City or NC Comicon logos or other official branding on your videos or photos, including as watermarks, titles, bugs, burn-ins, or any other potential uses.
